North Haven Camera Club Hosts Mark Bowie Presentation
Mark Bowie is a professional nature photographer that will be presenting the topic 'Envision: The Art of Seeing Creatively' on Apr.4.

From North Haven Camera Club: Professional nature photographer, writer and lecturer Mark Bowie will gave a presentation at a North Haven Camera Club instructional meeting, Tuesday April 4th, 7:00 p.m., at Hope Christian Church, 211 Montowese Ave., North Haven.
Mark Bowie's topic will be "Envision: The Art of Seeing Creatively". Mark will discuss seeing subjects not only for what they are, but what they can be in compelling compositions; with the use of lines, form, colors and tone. Mark explains, "Learning to use our powers of observation, to envision an image in the mind’s eye, is a life-long learning process that can elevate our imagery to ever-higher levels."
Mark is a staff instructor for the Adirondack Photography Institute, and leads nature photography workshops and tours himself. He has written dozens of national and international articles on natural history and outdoor recreation, and is the author of three books.

Non-members are welcome with $10 fee for this presentation, which will be refundable if a non-member joins the club this season or next.
North Haven Camera Club welcomes new members and guests at all meetings. The club, now in its sixth year, offers instructional meetings, workshops and field trips for photographers at all skill levels. Camera ownership can range from cellphones to advanced dSLRs.
