TURTLE DANCE The music group TURTLE DANCE is coming to the North Haven Library on Saturday, April 16 @ 10:30 a.m.!For children ages 2 and Up this Family-Friendly Program is a SENSORY-FRIENDLY MUSIC AND MOVEMENT SHOW. Turtle Dance musical show is crafted to be inclusive of all children, especially children on the autism spectrum, and offers a unique 60-minute music experience. In addition to the music and movement the concert is designed to engage children with stories, incredible visuals, play and interactive music technology! Each song is accompanied by hands-on, visual and sensory experiences inviting kids to play instruments, try out interactive music technology and dance throughout the show! Fun for kids, parents and caregivers. Don't miss out. Registration is required and begins on Friday, April 1st for Residents and Friday, April 8th for Non-Residents.

RETRO GAME DAY Monday, April 18 @ 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. kids ages 5 -12 drop in and try your hand AND your feet on Retro GameDay. Step on stilts, slip slinkies down the stairs and try to beat Simon at his game! Enjoy great classic games from Jacks to jump rope, play with our retro toys like Etch a Sketch or look at View-Master reels which are making a comeback from the “good old days." Registration is required and begins on Friday, April 8th for Residents and Friday, April 15th for Non-Residents.

CANVAS CLUB Canvas Club for Tweens and Teens - Monday, April 18 @ 6:30 p.m. for ages 10 -14. Do you like to paint, or would you like to learn? No painting experience is necessary to join this popular Canvas Club! Amazing results can be achieved with just a blank canvas, some paint and a little imagination. Are you dreaming of summer days? Paint a piece of the ocean to take home with you! Registration is required and begins on Friday, April 8th for Residents and Friday, April 15th for Non-Residents.

NATIONAL PINEAPPLE UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE DAY Did you know It’s National Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Day? On April 19th @ 2:00 children ages 5-10 can join Chef Melinda for this delicious treat which has been enjoyed since the early 1900’s! Help Chef Melinda shrink the cake down to cupcake size and delight in the flavors of this ‘national treasure’. Registration is required and begins on Friday, April 8th for Residents and Friday, April 15th for Non-Residents.

LEGO CLUB Lego™ Club is Tuesday, April 19 @ 6:30 p.m. Ages 4 – 12 Drop by the library and create with LEGO™! We provide the LEGOs™ in this monthly program and you provide the imagination! Come in and have fun! No registration required.

mAd HaTTeR'S TEa PArTy On Wednesday it’s the mAd HaTTeR’S TEa PArTY. DoN’T yoU bE lATe for the mAd HaTTeR’S VeRY important dAtE! April 20 @ 2:00 p.m for Ages 5 - 9. Come to the most Non-Sensical Tea Party
around. Have fun with puns and curious riddles, make a silly hat, sip tea, and eat vittles. Tea, Craft and Story but not necessarily in that order! Registration is required and begins on Friday, April 8th for Residents and Friday, April 15th for Non-Residents.

PARACHUTE PLAYTIME Friday, April 22 @ 10:30 a.m. is Parachute Playtime for the little ones. Get some energy out by shakin’ the parachute. Enjoy classic songs like Wheels on the Bus and Old MacDonald and dance to new
favorites! This loosely structured, gross-motor activity class is for children aged 2-6 with an adult. Registration is required and begins on Friday, April 8th for Residents and Friday, April 15th for Non-Residents.

SOCTOPUS Do you have mismatched socks lying around the house? Sign up your children ages 5-10 for Soctopus - Friday, April 22 @ 2:00p.m. Bring them to the North Haven Library and create your very own SOCKTOPUS creature! Please bring in a clean sock that can be cut up to make your own Socktopus; the longer the sock the better! Registration is required and begins on Friday, April 8th for Residents and Friday, April 15th for Non-Residents.

PICK-A-FLICK End the week with Pick-a-Flick on Saturday, April 23 @ 2:30 p.m. This drop-in movie for All Ages was voted on by last month's moviegoers. Now see which movie won for this show! Before our movie begins, be sure to cast your vote for the next movie then join us next month to find out which movie won the most votes.
