North Haven Resident Named GNAC Goalkeeper Of The Week

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven’s Jared Brennan, a freshman on the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team, was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Week, the league office announced.

Brennan opened his collegiate career with back-to-back shutout wins over UMaine-Farmington and Nichols College. Brennan was tremendous in a 3-0 win over the UMaine-Farmington, making six saves, before closing out the week with a three-save performance in a 1-0 win over Nichols.

Albertus returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 4 as the Falcons battle Dean College in a non-conference showdown at Celentano Field. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
