Obituary: John Hall Kirschner, 89, formerly of North Haven
John, a Navy vet, worked as a Data Processor for Western Electric (AT&T) and was a member of the American Legion and Corinthian Lodge #63.

NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From North Haven Funeral Home) John Hall Kirschner, 89 of Wallingford formerly of North Haven for 56 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford.
He was the beloved husband of the late Martha T. Kirschner for 64 years. Born in New Haven on October 13, 1931, he was the son of the late Russell and Harriet Kirschner.
He graduated from Cross High School in 1950. John later joined the United States Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Hornet during the Korean War.

He worked as a Data Processor for Western Electric (AT&T) from where he retired. John was a member of the American Legion and Corinthian Lodge #63.
He was an avid bowler, loved to garden, travel, and listen to music.

He was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church, New Haven.
Father of Mark (Rosemary) Kirschner, Robert (Stacy) Kirschner, and Miles Kirschner.
Grandfather of Katherine Leone (Jonathan) Vanase and Joseph Christian (Savannah) Kirschner. Great Grandfather of Elena and Anthony Vanase.
Due to Covid-19, all services will be private at this time.
A Memorial Service will be held at later date.
