Obituary: Marie Celina (White) Stewart, 93, of North Haven
Marie, an avid knitter, was always a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Marie Celina (White) Stewart, 93, of Wallingford, formerly of North Haven, died Monday, April 19, 2021, at the Regency House in Wallingford, CT.
She was the wife of the late Walter Stewart.
Marie was born June 20, 1927 in Newfoundland, Canada, a daughter of the late Daniel and Maggie (Gillis) White. Marie loved knitting, and sharing her mittens and sweaters with many friends and family.

Marie is survived by her children, Sharon Collins (Wayne), Martin Stewart (Christine) and Tracey Stewart; and her grandchildren, Nicole Collins and Jennifer Stewart.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Samantha Stewart; her sisters, Mary White Geehan of Tolland; and Jean White and Rita White of North Haven; her brothers, Joseph White and Gerald White from Newfoundland, Martin White, Huey White and Stanley White of Ontario, Ferdie White of Nova Scotia, and Michael White of British Columbia.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Sunday, April 25th from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1 pm.
Interment will be private in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. COVID precautions will be followed and masks required.
