NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are advising motorists that Sackett Point Road is closed between Locust Avenue and Universal Drive for construction on the railroad overpass.

Police said Universal Drive will not be accessible if you are traveling westbound on Sackett Point heading toward Universal. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area, if possible, due to the anticipated traffic.

The road is expected to reopen around 4 p.m., according to police.
