Suspects In Orange Robbery Possibly Linked To North Haven Crime
The incident occurred Monday morning on Summit Drive in Orange, according to police.
ORANGE, CT — Police in Orange are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred Monday morning on Summit Drive, and the suspects are linked to a similar attack in Woodbridge and possibly other nearby communities, according to authorities.
The Monday incident occurred at about 9:10 a.m. when the victim was approached in his driveway by the suspect who was wearing a dark-colored coat with a hood.
"The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money," Orange police said. "The resident denied having money on his person and the suspect fled as the passenger of a white Volkswagen Golf being driven by a light skinned male after being told he was being recorded on surveillance video."

Orange police said the two are suspects in a recent street robbery in Woodbridge, "and were also most likely involved in other crimes in North Haven, West Haven, and New Haven."
The Volkswagen, which had been reported stolen out of East Haven, was later recovered in New Haven, according to police.
