Teen Burglarized Garage In North Haven: Police

Police have arrested one of three suspects in connection with burglarizing a resident's attached garage in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A juvenile has been charged in connection with burglarizing a resident’s garage last April in North Haven, according to police.

A resident on the west side of town reported seeing three men on their home surveillance entering their attached, unlocked garage during the overnight hours, according to police.

“Ofc. Carter retrieved the surveillance and began coordinating with area departments and scouring social media in an attempt to identify the suspects,” police wrote in a post on social media.

With the assistance of the Hartford Police Department, Carter identified two juveniles out of the three suspects and obtained warrants for both.

One of the juveniles was found in Bloomfield and charged with first-degree burglary. The second juvenile hasn’t been charged yet, according to police.

Police said he is “currently incarcerated for unrelated charges of a greater significance.”
