Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust In North Haven: Police

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A traffic stop led to a drug bust Friday in North Haven, according to police.

A North Haven police officer conducted a traffic stop after seeing “suspicious activity” on Washington Avenue, according to officials.

With the assistance of a K-9 team, police found 20 bags of heroin, 20 bags of crack cocaine, approximately $1,800 in cash and several cell phones, officials said.

Tyrice White was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell. He was held in lieu of a $75,000 bond.

“The lint roller was used as a false container to conceal the drugs, but Police K-9's know better,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
