NORWICH, CT — A person was seriously injured and later died following a crash in Norwich Tuesday night, NBC CT reported. The crash occurred on I-395, closing both sides of the highway at exit 11 around 6:30 p.m. The highway has since reopened.
Police told WTNH that the wreck occurred when a car struck a reflector post, a metal beam guard rail and a state bridge abutment before coming to a stop.
The victim in the crash was identified as Joshua Prince, 23, of Uncasville. He was the only one in the car during the crash, according to WTNH.
