1 Injured In Norwich Shooting; Local Man Charged
Police have charged a man in a Tuesday night shooting.
NORWICH, CT — A local man has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred near the ArtSpace apartments downtown Tuesday night, according to The Day. The victim in the shooting was initially transported to Backus Hospital and then taken by LifeStar helicopter to Hartford Hospital.
He was reportedly in stable condition.
Police arrested Shawn Delcastillo, 40, of 2664 Washington St., Apt. 2, and charged him with first-degree assault, carrying a pistol without a permit, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a pistol or revolver, and second-degree breach of peace.

He was held on $500,000 bond, according to The Day.
