16th Annual Norwich National Night Out Moves to New Location
The event will no longer be held at the Shop Rite parking lot where it has been held for years.
NORWICH, CT – The annual National Night Out block party has swapped locations this year, The Day reported.
After being held for 15 years in the Shop Rite parking lot on West Main Street, the 16th annual block party will be held at the Norwich Harbor, according to The Day. The event is free and will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The event is held by the Norwich Police Department, and hopes to welcome some 3,000 residents, according to The Day. Holding the event at the harbor will allow the U.S. Coast Guard to participate.
