Bearded Dragon Lizard Spotted In Norwich Neighborhood: PD
Police are searching for the creature's owner.

NORWICH, CT — A bearded dragon lizard was spotted "roaming in the area of Pearl Street" in Norwich Thursday, and local police are asking for the public's help in its owner. The department posted about its Facebook page.
Generally, the creatures generally are not dangerous, and can make fun pets. However, they can bite if scared, though their venom is "mild and harmless to humans and most other animals," according to PetPonder.com.
"Please share so we can find his/her owner quickly," wrote Norwich police. "Please call (860) 886-5561 Ext. 6 if you have any information. Thank you."
