Brooklyn Man Wanted For Murder By NYPD In SE CT: Cops
New York City police have an extraditable warrant for Edwin Banks, 44, of Brooklyn. Norwich Police say Banks may currently be in the area.
NORWICH, CT — Police say a man wanted for murder by the New York Police Department is believed to be in Southeastern, Connecticut.
The Norwich Police Department says there is an NYPD warrant for Edwin Banks, 44, of Brooklyn. In a post to Facebook that police asked for people to "please share," Norwich Police said the "NYPD holds an extraditable warrant for Banks" who authorities say is in the area "currently."
Police said that anyone who is "aware of Banks’ location" should contact authorities immediately.
