NORWICH, CT — A car hit Vocatura's Bakery on Boswell Avenue Sunday afternoon, The Day reported. The driver, Harry Viera, 71, of 3 Helen St. in Norwich, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
No one was injured in the crash.
Viera drove his Jeep Wrangler through a concrete wall, a center support, the glass front of the building, and a food display before the car came to rest, according to The Day.
