A Norwich Free Academy coach accused of having sexual relationships with two female students will avoid prison time.

NEW LONDON, CT — A former high school coach charged with having sexual relationships with two female students will not go to prison, according to WTNH. Anthony Facchini, a former assistant coach for football, soccer, and track at Norwich Free Academy, received a five-year suspended sentence Wednesday.

He will serve the sentence on probation. Facchini, who originally faced two counts of second-degree sexual assault, pleaded no contest to risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment, WTNH reported.
