City of Norwich Coronavirus Update

The City of Norwich announces the following:

• The Rose City Senior Center will be closed to the public until further notice. The bus shuttle service will be available for necessary medical and shopping appointments. Any further questions please contact the Senior Center directly at 860-889-5960.
• Recreation Programs will be postponed until further notice.
• The Tax Office is encouraging online payments and Zoning and Building permit/application fees can be paid over the phone to limit public contact.
• Building Maintenance will be cleaning all public surfaces two or three times a day. In addition to a deep cleanings when needed.
• Public meetings are still scheduled and any updates can be viewed on the webpage calendar.

We will continue to monitoring state recommendations and our local health department on various programs the City provides and reviewing them daily. Updates during this situation will be posted on the City’s Website and Facebook.
