NORWICH, CT - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather and wind advisories for Norwich on Tuesday, as well as a hazardous weather outlook.

Here we can expect heavy snow and sleet, with near blizzard conditions at times this morning. Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph, becoming northwest in the afternoon. Isolated gusts of 55 to 60 mph are possible.

Wednesday: Scattered snow showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. West wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Northwest wind 9 to 11 mph.
