Leffingwell House Museum To Hold 'Be Revolutionary' Event On July 4
Artist Susan Durkee, who will be unveiling a never-before seen portrait of her ancestor, Col. John Durkee, a Revolutionary War hero.

This is Dayne Rugh, President at the Leffingwell House Museum inviting you all to attend our yearly Be Revolutionary Event on July 4, 2021 at the Leffingwell House Museum from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. This year will feature a must-see event over 250 years in the making. We will be conducting an exclusive outdoor presentation featuring nationally-renowned artist Susan Durkee who will be unveiling a special never-before-seen portrait of her ancestor, and Norwich Revolutionary War hero, Colonel John Durkee. This program will feature a presentation delivered by Leffingwell House Museum President, Dayne Rugh and will also feature comments by the artist, Susan Durkee, and local and state officials. This event is free to attend and upon the conclusion of the event, tours of the Leffingwell House Museum will be made available.
