Norwich Coach To Receive Honor At HS Recognition Dinner

NORWICH, CT — During an awards gala in Southington on May 10, the Connecticut High School Coaches Association will honor 24 coaches as Outstanding Coaches of the Year, an Athletic Director of the Year and Announce three special awards, organizers announced.

The event is the 54th annual CHSCA Recognition Dinner, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Kay’s Pier at the Aqua Turf. Tickets for the event are $46 and may be purchased in advance only by contacting John Fontana at 860-628- 4122.

To be honored are Athletic Director of the Year Joseph Madaffari of Brien McMahon High School; Scott Aresco will receive the Thomas Monahan CHSCA Honor Award; Bill O’Brien will be awarded the Joseph J. Fontana Distinguished Service Award; and Gina Simeone of Nfinity will receive the Joseph Calvanese
Sponsorship Award.
