Norwich Kayak Tour and Open Houses Highlight Weekend

As part of the state museum open house celebration, the city will host a kayak tour on the Yantic River in addition to two tourism open house events, The Day reported.

As Saturday is Connecticut Open House Day, the Leffingwell House Museum will offer free tours of the first floor and a display of flags, according to The Day. The Norwich Heritage and Regional Visitors’ Center will also be open.

Residents can also enjoy a free kayak tour along the Yantic River, Norwich Harbor and Shetucket River as part of the Norwich Historical Society Second Saturday summer tours, The Day reported. While Participants can bring their own kayaks, they will also be available to rent.
