Norwich Man Sentenced In Drug Trafficking Case: Feds

Earlene Dudley Jr. will serve three years in federal prison for his role in a cocaine and heroin trafficking ring.

NORWICH, CT — A Norwich man has been sentenced to three years in prison for his role in a drug trafficking ring, according to a statement from federal prosecutors. Earlene Dudley Jr., 39, will also serve three years of supervised release.

His case is related to a law enforcement investigation into drug and gun dealing in southeastern Connecticut. The investigation revealed that Ramel General worked closely with the leader of a drug trafficking network, distributing cocaine for the organization and maintaining an apartment in New London that the organization used to deal drugs.

Dudley regularly purchased distribution quantities of cocaine from General and sold the drug to his own customers, according to prosecutors.
