Norwich Resident Joins United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut

Chris McNally Named Director of Marketing Communications

Hartford, Conn. (April 11, 2017) — United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut is pleased to announce Chris McNally has joined its team as Director of Marketing Communications.

As Director, McNally will lead the department in developing and implementing a strategic, integrated marketing communications plan to achieve the organization’s year-round fundraising, volunteer and advocacy engagement objectives.

“We are delighted to welcome Chris to United Way,” said Paula S. Gilberto, president and CEO of United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. “I am confident his background and expertise will serve to strengthen our commitment to the community to create opportunities for children to find academic success and for families to reach financial security.”

McNally joins United Way following seven years at CÜR Media where he most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Strategy.

“I am excited to start a new challenge at United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and look forward to working with the team to further develop its already extensive and successful list of community services,” said McNally. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected organization that prides itself on providing access to programs that promote education, financial security and basic needs.”

A resident of Norwich, McNally holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Marketing from the University of Connecticut.
