This year’s competition also included the first female student participating in the event.
“CARA is happy to coordinate the Automotive Technology Competition that was held today. This event demonstrates how the automotive training at the high schools can lead to actual jobs at the 270 new Connecticut car dealerships. We hope these students someday join the 14,000 employees in the CARA dealerships throughout Connecticut,” CARA President Jim Fleming said. “This competition is a great experience for the students of the Connecticut Technical High School System. Congratulations to all the students and teachers that participated in the competition.”
