Schedule Change For NFA Thanksgiving Day Football Game
Norwich Free Academy is slated to play New London.
NORWICH, CT — The annual Thanksgiving Day football game between Norwich Free Academy and New London has been reschedule to Wednesday at 6 p.m., according to NFA school officials.
"Because of forecasted cold weather, the annual Thanksgiving football game against New London has been rescheduled to 6 p.m., tomorrow, Wednesday, November 21 at Cannamela Field in New London," officials stated.
Thursday's temperatures are expected to only reach the 20s, which prompted the schedule change.
