Sunflowers For Wishes Coming Up In Griswold

GRISWOLD, CT — Named by Better Homes & Gardens as one of the 11 most beautiful sunflower fields in the country, a visit to Buttonwood Farms’ 18th annual Sunflowers for Wishes is not to be missed! Cut your own stems for $2 per flower and make a beautiful bouquet to take home, with all proceeds to benefit Make-A-Wish Connecticut. Grab a scoop of farm-fresh, homemade ice cream – more than 50 flavors, including a special sunflower flavor sold only during Sunflowers for Wishes. Also returning to the farm this year will be the famous Sunflowers for Wishes t-shirts and note cards, alongside specialty merchandise to support the fundraising. Sunflowers for Wishes is located at Buttonwood Farm, 473 Shetucket Turnpike in Griswold, CT. The event is open to the public from 10AM until dusk, July 24th through August 1st.
