Thief Swipes 30 Cartons Of Smokes From Gas Station
Police are searching for a robber who swiped 30 cartons of cigarettes from a Colchester gas station.
COLCHESTER, CT — Police are searching for a suspect who stole 30 cartons of cigarettes from the Citgo gas station at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to state police. He is described as "a black middle aged male wearing a black jacket, camouflage hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and black shoes."
No weapon was shown and there was no threat to the store clerk, police said..
The man fled in a white sedan or coupe parked in a parking lot behind Citgo.
