Three Rivers College Foundation Awards $415,000 In Scholarships

The Three Rivers College Foundation bestowed over $415,000 in scholarships at the 28th Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 25. The awards were broadcast via a virtual video that can be found at www.threerivers.edu/scholarship.

The total scholarships came to just over $415,000 and were awarded to 152 students. This includes $50,000 in summer scholarships. The majority of the scholarships support students through the fall semester, but many students, who have exhausted their financial aid and cannot afford summer courses, benefit from the summer scholarships which expedites their path to graduation.

Betty Baillargeon, Director of Institutional of Advancement stated, “the TRC Foundation Board of Directors is committed to removing financial barriers for students such as tuition, books, fees, online learning codes, and technology. Many of our most vulnerable students have been greatly impacted by the recent crisis of COVID-19, and, now more than ever, students need this financial assistance to receive the education they are working so hard to achieve.”
