Unbeaten Wildcats Top Final CT High School Girls Basketball Poll

Norwich Free Academy was the top choice of voters in the year-end balloting of coaches and media members.

CONNECTICUT — An undefeated season capped by a 24-point victory in the Southern Connecticut Conference championship game provided Norwich Free Academy the top spot in the final high school girls basketball poll of the abbreviated 2021 season.

The Wildcats earned 10 of 17 first-place votes to outdistance runner-up Notre Dame-Fairfield, which collected three top nods. Ridgefield, with four first-place votes, finished third.

Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other teams garnering votes.
