Amity High School Grad Named College Athlete Of The Week

ORANGE, CT — Jordan D'Onofrio, an Amity High School grad now playing football for WestConn, recently was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week, Western Connecticut State University announced.

The Orange resident is a senior at WestConn, and he is the Colonials' punter/kicker.

Last week he kicked two important field goals, the second one to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, in what turned out to be an overtime victory over William Paterson University.
