Connecticut was hit with Winter Storm Gail on Wednesday, which was expected to dump significant amounts of snow through Thursday morning. Widespread power outages were a possibility, and if they occur, the district might switch to a traditional snow day on Thursday.
Notification of a snow day will be provided via Swift K12 by 6 a.m., officials said.
