Amity Vaults Into Top 5 of Latest High School Baseball Poll

Just one of the top 10 teams from last week's balloting maintained the same position this week.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — The top nine spots in the latest high school baseball poll changed from last week, with the top four teams all receiving at least one first-place vote and moving up from their previous rankings.

Ledyard garnered five top votes to move up from third to first in the most recent balloting. Cheshire (1 first-place vote) moved up two spots into second, while Amity (4) jumped from sixth to third and Staples (3) inched up a spot into fourth.

Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, plus all other teams receiving votes.
