How Many Orange Residents Received Coronavirus Vaccine So Far?
State health officials released data — for the first time — showing how many people in each town have been vaccinated for the coronavirus.
ORANGE, CT — A total of 2,140 Orange residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, according to newly released data from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
There are 13,926 residents in Orange, and based on the numbers as of Feb. 1, 15.37 percent of them have received their first dose. Orange has 1,505 residents over the age of 75 and 852 of them have received their first dose or 56.61 percent, according to state health officials.
And if you're curious, Milford has disseminated the vaccine to 10.64 percent of its population, while West Haven is at 6.68 percent and Woodbridge is at 19.33 percent.

Since the pandemic began in March, Orange has reported 696 confirmed cases of the virus and 15 deaths, according to state health officials.
