New Details Released In Fatal Town Fair Tire Shooting: Orange PD
Police released new details about the shooting at the business and the name of the person shot and killed.
ORANGE, CT — A suspect in the fatal shooting at a Town Fair Tire has been identified and was taken into custody late Saturday on unrelated charges, police said.
Terrance Allen, 24, of New Haven is accused of fatally shooting Joshwua Figueroa, 27, of New Haven at the 63 Boston Post Road business at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Police said the shooting occurred inside one of the service bays of Town Fair Tire. The victim was shot multiple times, police said. Allen was working as an employee of Town Fair Tire at the time he was "confronted by the victim," police said.

He immediately fled after the shooting, police said. Phone contact was made with the "suspect" shortly after the shooting, but he failed to turn himself in, police said.
"The nature of the dispute and the relationship between the two men is still under investigation," police said.

With the assistance of the Branford Police Department, Allen was taken into custody at a local hotel just after 9 p.m. Saturday on an outstanding warrant out of New Haven for violation of probation and on weapons charges related to the earlier incident at Town Fair Tire, police said.
