New Tattoo Shop Opens In Orange; Hailed By State Representatives

ORANGE, CT — A new tattoo shop has opened in Orange on the Boston Post Road.

Empire Tattoo, at 547 Boston Post Road, opened last week, and this week was welcomed to Orange by state Reps. Charles Ferraro (R-117) and Kathy Kennedy (R-119), who presented the shop with a congratulatory citation from the state during the shop's ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"Whether you already have your design picked out and ready to go or if you would like to utilize our skills to design a unique work of art," the owners wrote in a statement. "We believe that tattoos are an exciting form of personal expression and as a result each tattoo should be as unique as you are."

The shop's hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; it is open by appointment only on Sundays and Monday.
