Obituary: Gaetano Tammaro, 73, of Orange
Gaetano was known as "The Pizza Guy" to his family and friends. He worked in Quality Assurance at Bayer Pharmaceuticals for many years.
ORANGE, CT - (From North Haven Funeral Home) Gaetano Tammaro, 73, of Orange passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13th, 2020 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Born in Civitella, Italy on February 21, 1947, he was the son of the late Gioacchino and Concetta Ciaburri Tammaro.
Gaetano worked in Quality Assurance at Bayer Pharmaceuticals before retiring at age 56. Known as “The Pizza Guy”, his passions in life included making pizza at parties for family and friends both here and in Italy, driving his classic cars and boating.

Father of George Tammaro (Jacqueline), Geoffrey Tammaro (Megan) and Kimberly Tammaro. Nonno of Gabriella, Gino, Finley, Beau and Cole Tammaro.
Brother of Lucia Tammaro and the late Luciano Tammaro. He will always and forever be remembered as the uniquely legendary “Guy.”

Private funeral services have been entrusted to The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
