Obituary: Joyce Lindsay, 77
Joyce, of Orange, began her career as a nurse and retired as the administrator of Home Care Plus in Milford in 2015.

MILFORD, CT - Joyce Lindsay, age 77, died peacefully on January 24, 2020 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a long illness.
Joyce is survived by her children, Kris Lindsay and her fiancée, Eric Stevens; her son, Bruce Lindsay; her son, James Lindsay and his wife, Meredith; her grandchildren, Zachary Zunski, Burke Lindsay, and Fletcher Lindsay; and her sister, Jane Pedersen and her husband, Dean.

Joyce was born on October 18, 1942 in New Haven, Connecticut to Torrey and Betty Lunde. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a nursing degree, and then earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia University. She raised her family in Orange, Connecticut and was a long-time resident there. Joyce began her career as a nurse and retired as the administrator of Home Care Plus in Milford in 2015.
Joyce enjoyed reading, visiting museums, and spending time with family and friends. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren.

A Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Orange Congregational Church, 205 Meetinghouse Lane, Orange, CT 06477.
Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joyce to The Connecticut Hospice at www.hospice.com.
