Obituary: Paul R. Whalen, 85, of Orange

ORANGE, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Paul R. Whalen, 85, of Orange, beloved husband of the late Joan Whalen, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2021. Paul was born on December 26, 1935.

He worked for several insurance companies over the years and frequently traveled for his job. Paul loved watching the NY Giants and taking trips with Joan to Cape Cod.

Paul leaves behind his son, Michael Whalen, Sr. and his wife Cynthia; daughter, Debra Whalen; grandsons, Michael Jr., and Justin Whalen; step-grandchildren, Amanda and Anthony Martin; brother, James Whalen and his wife Joyce; brother-in-law James Manifold; faithful dog, Moe; and Kevin and Frank Vann.

A Walk Through Wake will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. Masks will be required and social distancing enforced.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange.

Masks will be required (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange Center Road, Orange.
