Orange Police Blotter: Nov. 15-17

Nov. 17/2013 @ 1942 hours

William Wallace, 45, of 64 Flora Dr, Stratford, was charged at 7:42 p.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 

Police Report: 

Officers conducting routine patrol stopped a car driving on Route One without its headlights on. Officers had the driver perform standardized roadside sobriety tests. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged.

Nov. 15

Barnette Barr, 49, of 200 Brookside Ave, New Haven, was charged at 1:18 p.m. with sixth-degree larceny.

Police Report: 

Officers were dispatched to the Target store regarding a shoplifter. Officers learned that the arrestee had selected $279 worth of store merchandise and left the store without paying. Officers were able to locate the arrestee driving away from the scene, where they took her into custody and she was charged.

Maryann Collier, 60, of 166 Everett St, West Haven, was charged at 3:47 p.m. with sixth-degree larceny. 

Police Report: 

Officers were dispatched to the Kohl’s store regarding a shoplifter. Officers learned that the arrestee had selected $26 worth of store merchandise and left the store without paying. Store security agents stopped her outside the store and detained her for police.
