Orange Police Union Raises Money for Children with Cancer

Money will go to help support a local family whose child is battling cancer.

ORANGE, CT —The Orange Police Union with the support of the Orange Police Department has raised money for the Tommy Fund in support of families dealing with childhood cancers.

Orange resident Chloe Clemens, 1, has been fighting her childhood cancer with parents Will and Leigh by her side, according to a department Facebook post.

Male officers and civilian staff as well as a member of our Board of Police Commissioners didn't shave for all of November while female Officers painted their finger nails purple. Each member raised money for the cause and funds were matched by the Police Union.

More than $5,400 was raised.
