Services Set For Retired Orange Police Lt. Claimed By Coronavirus
Retired Orange Police Lt. Rodger J. Addil, 72, died on Dec. 8 from complications of the coronavirus, according to his obituary.
ORANGE, CT — A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at Holy Infant Church in Orange for retired Orange Police Lt. Rodger Jon Addil, 72, who died on Dec. 8 from complications of the coronavirus (COVID-19), announced Cody-White Funeral Home.
Addil was a 28-year veteran of the Orange Police Department, who retired in 2000 as the lieutenant in command of the department's Investigative Services Unit.
He is survived by his wife of 38-years, Marcia (Hathaway) Addil, and his daughter, Amy (Bobby) Amarone and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Madison.

Thursday's service will be held at 11 a.m., but according to the funeral home, "only 100 people are allowed inside the church at once due to gathering restrictions and masks will be required."
Interment will be private, but friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Cody-White Funeral Home in Milford, again, space will be limited.
