1998 Rocky Hill High Wrestling Team To Enter Rocky Hill Athletic Hall of Fame

A press release from the Rocky Hill Athletic Hall of Fame:

The Rocky Hill Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the 1998 State  Championship Wrestling team from Rocky Hill High School will be the newest  team inducted into the local Hall of Fame.

This wrestling team was the Class “S” Champion in the winter season of 1997-98 with an overall team record of 18-1. Twenty-two athletes and two coaches will be honored for their team achievements at the annual induction ceremony on June 7, 2014 at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel, Rocky Hill.

They will be the fourth team inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame since its inception in 2002. Individual inductees to the Hall of Fame will be announced later this spring.
