2 Seriously Injured In Crash In Rocky Hill: Police

Part of the road is closed due to the crash, which also damaged a utility pole, according to police.

ROCKY HILL, CT — At least two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Rocky Hill, according to police.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. and also damaged a utility pole in the area of 3372 Main Street (Route 99), according to police.

Main Street in Rocky Hill will be closed in both directions from Brook Street to the Cromwell town line while the crash is investigated, police said.

The road will be closed until the investigation is completed and/or the utility pole is repaired, according to police. It was unknown how long the road closure would last, as of 8:50 p.m.

Police are advising motorists to seek an alternate route.
