A wonderful day with many of our Greatest Generational Heros, from breakfast, to the Memorial and then back for lunch and awards!!
The event started at the VFW Post 511 with breakfast, an Opening Ceremony and Greetings:
Then the Motorcycle Poker Run began its trip to the Iwo jima Memorial and a bus also took all the Greatest Generation's Heroes to the Memorial as well!
At The Memorial was a welcome from Gary Roy, Ride Chairman, the Posting Of Colors, Pledge Of Allegiance, speakers and Special Presentations from Jane Dougherty:
The speakers included Rene Gagnon Jr. who's father was one of the Heroes Who Posted the Flag At Iwo Jima:
They all returned the the VFW for a Post-Ride Cookout and Celebration to Thank All World War II Veterans:
