Brewery, Taproom Plans To Open Rocky Hill Location
A Connecticut beer maker has plans to open its first brewery and taproom.
ROCKY HILL, CT — The owners of Boondoggle Beers are planning to build a brewery and tasting room on the Connecticut River in Rocky Hill, The Hartford Business Journal reported. The owners plan to invest $400,000 to develop the brewery and taproom at 45 Evans Road.
On top of that, they will need another $300,000 to $500,000 for the project. Boondoggle currently distributes 16 types of beer to 400 liquor stores and restaurants across the state.
Plans for the Rocky Hill site call for leasing a 3000-square-foot space in one of the buildings for a tasting room and constructing a 4000-square-foot space for beer production, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The project will need to be approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission before moving forward.
