Campbellsville University, Campbellsville KY

  • "Be kind and work hard, and I promise you amazing things will happen," Ashli Schmidt Watts, senior vice president of public affairs for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, told a record number of 2,279 students who received degrees from Campbellsville University during three commencement ceremonies May 3 and 4. There were 2,011 students receiving master's degrees; 255 receiving bachelor degrees and 12 being awarded associate degrees in the May 3 and 4 ceremonies. Pavan Pyarasani of Rocky Hill graduated with a Master of Science in Information Technology Management.

  • Emily Pentland of Rocky Hill was among over 160 students who were celebrated as part of the Kente Graduation Recognition Ceremony. Sponsored by the college's Department of Africana/Latino Studies, the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the Office of Student Diversity and Advocacy, the annual ceremony recognizes the achievements of SUNY Oneonta's diverse student population-African American, Latino, Asian and Native American (AALANA) students and non-AALANA students and allies. Pentland is graduating this spring with a Bachelor of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences Ed.
