Car Crash Leads To Road Closure, Power Outages In Rocky Hill

ROCKY HILL, CT — A road is closed due to a reported motor vehicle accident Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police said there is a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of West Street and Gilbert Avenue. The crash occurred at 2:15 p.m. Sunday. There are wires down and power outages as a result of the crash.

West Street will be closed at Capital Boulevard and Pearl Lane, police said. Gilbert Avenue will be closed at Butternut Lane. Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route if traveling in the area.
