CodeRED Allows Residents To Be Notified of Emergency Conditions

A simple registration will put them in touch like they've never been before.

The Town of Rocky Hill now has the ability to notify you about emergency situations faster than ever before with the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notification.

"It is another way for residents to take advantage of technology to stay in touch with the town departments," Rocky Hill Police Lieutenant Brian Klett said. "It never hurts to be connected and this process is one way to do so."

The CodeRED Emergency Notification System will disseminate pre-recorded messages about power failures, missing persons, fires or floods, and other threats to public safety.
