Connecticut Irish Festival In North Haven Wraps Up Today

This weekend at the North Haven Fairgrounds is the 2013 Connecticut Irish Festival, which claims to be the longest-running Irish festival in the country.

The festival wraps up on Sunday from 8:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets cost $12 per day and children under 16 get in free.

The event features live musicians, food, sheepherding demonstrations, a petting zoo, pony rides, children's games and hurling matches. There was also a 5k Road Race on Saturday to benefit the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association.
