The Cora J. Belden Library believes Black History should be taught year round- not only in February. The Black Creators Series highlights the work of Black authors and illustrators monthly through June. Sonja Cherry-Paul, Director of Diversity and Equity at the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project, will lead discussions with children’s book creators about their work and the powerful ways their books can transform lives.

Please join us on the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project Facebook page on the third Tuesday of each month from November through June from 7:30–8 p.m. EST for these thoughtful, informative, and powerful conversations.
